Pomerelia Teutonic Order Hussites Thirteen Years’ War

The artwork below depicts one of many chaotic events experienced by the Town of Konitz. Battle of Konitz, 1454 Four major periods in the early history of Konitz were: 1. Pomerelia and the early Kashubian Civilization 2. In 1143 the Teutonic Order originated, and in 1230 the conquest of Prussia began. In 1309 the Teutonic Order captured Danzig and consolidated control over Pomerelia and Konitz. 3. In 1433 Konitz was Invaded by the Hussites 4. In the period of 1454 to 1466, the Thirteen Years’ War ended with the establishment of Royal Prussia that included Pomerelia and Konitz.
